Language Arts is a fun way to learn! I Wonder what we will be learning in Language Arts this year? It was very fun last year.
Writing
I can write a variety of clear, focussed personal writing demonstrating connections to personal experiences, ideas, and opinions
-clearly developed ideas by using effective supporting details, explanations
-effective word choice through the use of precise nouns, and powerful verbs and modifiers
-an honest and engaging voice
-an organization that is meaningful, logical, and effective
I can create meaningful visual representations that communicate personal response, information, and ideas relevant to the topic
-development of ideas by making connections to personal feelings, experiences, opinions, and information
-an expressive and individualistic voice
-an organization in which key ideas are evident
